Carl R. Smith Jr.

BIOGRAPHY: Carl Smith is from Atlanta, GA and has served in ministry since age 16. Carl studied Theology, Music, and Christian Education at Christian Life College in Stockton, CA. He has traveled the country leading in worship, and ministering to adults, youth, and children. In addition to evangelizing, he has also volunteered for several ministry groups assisting in special event planning, promotions, and outreach. Carl's passions in ministry are preaching and teaching the word of God, helping churches find their identity and vision, and missions. Carl is currently the serving in ministry as the Minister of Music and Worship Leader at Freedom In Christ Church in San Francisco, CA.

WHAT'S ON MY iPOD: Worship Music (Kari Jobe, Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, Israel & New Breed, and way too many more to list), Country Music, Dance/Electronica, Bluegrass, Cheesy Light Rock.

FAVORITE BOOKS: "The Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman, "The Giver" by Lois Lowry, "Total Money Makeover" by Dave Ramsey, "The Velvet Rage," and of course the Bible.

FAVORITE TV: I am a re-run junkie. I love Seinfeld, Friends, Fraiser, Golden Girls, Law & Order: SVU, The Office, The Big Bang Theory, and cooking competition shows.

FAVORITE MOVIES: My favorite movie currently is "The Kite Runner" - what an awesome movie about friendship and forgiveness. I also love the movie "Mysterious Skin" and of course "Steel Magnolias." I love a good scary movie, teacher/coach flick, or romantic comedy.

HOBBIES: Sleeping late, board games, laughing, travel, planning events, and church, selling on eBay and at Flea Markets
