Mission StatementCarl Smith Ministries exists to provide resources, programs, and opportunities that encourage, educate, and support churches and ministries desiring to reach all people with the life-changing Gospel of Christ.
| Vision Statement
Our ministry envisions churches and ministries that provide safe spaces for worship and service for all people, are united in Christ, and support and encourage the global church as a whole.
|
We seek to accomplish this mission and vision through online broadcasting, educational materials, conferences and seminars, support groups, missions, and other endeavors.
Core Values
People:
The heartbeat of God is His children. He loves, accepts, and invites all of His children to find salvation and their place in the Kingdom of God. This invitation is for everyone regardless of gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, ability or past.
Relationships:
Every person is important to Christ. He was willing to lay down His life so that all people could have a relationship with God. This is our pattern. We are to bear one another's burdens and fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2).
Christ & Him Crucified:
Without Christ and His sacrifice at Calvary, we are unable to find grace and mercy. Our world needs to find salvation in the name of Jesus Christ. We have made the commitment to cling to the old rugged cross and exchange it someday for our crown!

Statement Of Faith
We believe that Truth is found in a journey, not a destination. So, as we state our beliefs, we are in no way claiming that we have all the Truth. Truth is Jesus Christ. As we grow in our relationship with Him, we grasp Truth more fully. We derive our statement of beliefs from the Bible. The Bible is infallible; we, however, are not. Therefore, we try to approach the text in humility and interpret the Scripture to the best of our ability. What we will not do is make excuses for the Scripture. Rather, we will embrace it fully. We will strive to be comfortable with our understandings, our differences, and our questions. As Paul said, "For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified"
(1 Corinthians 2:2).
We believe...
1. The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are given by God’s inspiration, and in the original writings they are without error. We believe the Scriptures were written by God through people and therefore speak with the authority of God while reflecting the backgrounds, styles, and vocabularies of the human authors. They are the unique and final authority on all matters of Christian faith and practice.
2. God is one; infinite in power, holy in nature, and personal in His love for humanity. Through the grand story of redemption, He has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is fully God and fully man. He is the only begotten Son of God in whom the completeness of God exists.
4. Jesus died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. We believe He was raised from the dead on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is the only mediator between God and humanity. No one comes to the Father except through Christ.
5. Grace is the only way to have a relationship with God.
6. We are buried with our Lord Jesus Christ in the waters of baptism. Water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ, a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and a commitment to be His disciples.
7. Through His Holy Spirit, God lives in and through us now.
8. The fruit and gifts of the Spirit are to be a part of the believer's life.
9. The church is all people who are bound together by faith in Christ. It is not a building or denomination. Believers in Jesus Christ should live in unity regardless of doctrinal persuasion.
10. Faith is the only way to grow in our relationship with God. Without faith is it is impossible to please God.
11. There are eternal rewards and judgments. Death is not an end -- it is a beginning.
12. The church is to serve people following Jesus’ example. We believe in the practical application of the Christian faith in our everyday lives and the need to minister to people spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
13. God offers salvation and full participation in His kingdom to all people regardless of gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, ability, or past.
14. Every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus, obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit, and by being conformed to the image of Christ.
15. Healing is made available by Jesus Christ.
16. Jesus is coming again.
Please note that Carl Smith Ministries is unable to participate in or support with overseas ministries at this time.
